In the year 2006, Ileana made her debut through the movie Devadasu which was a block buster hit. Actor Ram was also a fellow debutant along with Ileana and the movie was directed by YVS Chowdary. The movie was based on a love story and was also a musical hit. The story was about a girl who is a daughter of Senator in New York. The girl visits India and falls in love with a street smart hero. The rest of the story was about the love birds and how they achieve their love.
The same year another blockbuster rewrote all the previous records in the film industry and the film was Pokiri. The movie had Prince Mahesh Babu as the hero and Ileana as a female lead. Puri Jagannath was the director of this movie. The movie was a blockbuster hit of the year 2006 and collected almost 70 crores at the box office. Equipped with an action and love story, the movie was a super hit amongst the mass crowds with apt music. Ileana’s career zoomed to the top with this film and was named amongst the leading actresses of tollywood.
In the same year her next movie Khatarnak was released which had Ileana as the female lead and Ravi Teja as the hero. The movie banked on the skin show of Ileana as the sexy lady was seen in sleeveless blouses and hot outfits which made her male fans drooling over her beauty.
The year 2007, had 3 releases of Ileana and were under big banners. They were Raakhi, Munna and Aata. They had a decent run at the box office.
